In April 2014 I completed my final year at the University of the Philippines, where I studied Business Management. I have always had an interest in finance, and my degree helped to further this interest. The modules and case studies I took involved many aspects of the financial system. Aside from financial analysis, my interest in marketing as well as in market research grew. My professors in Marketing Management as well as in Marketing Research have given us the necessary training. In my final year of my degree course, I completed a dissertation which involved doing an intensive and extensive analysis of data necessary for a company's business plan. This training opened an opportunity for me to work as a part-time employee for a start-up company in Pampanga as a market researcher. The experience allowed me to learn important skills and to develop the confidence needed to succeed in a competitive environment.
Furthermore, when I was still a student at the University of the Philippines, I joined different organizations in order to develop my interpersonal and organizational skills. I was even elected as the president of a service-oriented organization in my final year at the University.
