Profile Description

In June of 2007, I started working at one of the best banks in the Philippines. I became very familiar with multi-tasking; communicating with clients, making them feel good as they wait for me to finish their transaction. I also gained the expertise in using 10-digit numpad, even without looking at it. It was a need for employees like us since we have to finish each transaction fast and as much as possible, reach 200 transactions daily. The most daily transaction that i reached was over 700. At the end of the day, we would do balancing of cash and with the help of MS Excel, doing this was a piece of cake. I then, gained more knowledge on how to use MS Excel. Aside from balancing our cash on hand, each of us would audit our own media (also known as deposit slips, withdrawal slips and checks) and then we would exchange our media to counter check each others work, thus preventing errors in transactions like misposting, over/underposting and many other errors to be overlooked. Aside from the traditional tasks of banker or better yet, a Customer Service Representative, we are also assigned to market the bank's other products like credit cards, loans and many others. We call clients over the phone to offer our products, in cases when they personally visit the bank, we present to them the advantages if they avail of our products.
Three years and four months after, I resigned from the bank to start my own business, which is paper crafting. I make handmade invitations which led me to learn how to use Photoshop and do frequent web researching. I am also continuously learning to use MS Word since from time to time, Windows releases new versions of it. As of the moment, aside from making invitations, I do much of web researching to gain more general knowledge which will be very useful to me in my everyday life.
