Profile Description

I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Development Communication Major in Educational Communication at Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan). I had my internship at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in UP Los Banos wherein I helped in developing their brochure in promoting awareness of the livelihood programs of the institute for those families of the farmers living nearby. I am a licensed Professional Scuba Diver, a surfer, swimmer and a triathlete.
I formerly worked at Nestle Philippines Inc. for 7 years of which I was a Nutrition Specialist. As a Nutrition Specialist I was responsible for the ethical promotion of the product I was handling. My daily task was to talk to Medical Practitioners (Pediatricians and Obstetricians) as well as midwives and nurses. I am their partner when it comes to providing complete nutrition to babies especially when they opt to mix-feed their babies &/or patients. I do lectures also as well as conduct and facilitate different marketing activities for my product. After working for Nestle, I was hired by DuPont Far East Inc. I was the Key Accounts & Plantation Manager handling all Key Accounts for the Banana, Pineapple and Sugarcane plantations in the Visayas and Mindanao Region. My responsibility was to ensure that our target sales for each month will be met. This time the product I was handling was herbicides and insecticides. It was a major decision for me to jump from a marketing stint to a sales stint (Nestle to DuPont) since both are of different job descriptions but both are important to ensure success in the business. I wanted to have the firsthand experience of what it was like to advertise and market your product at the same time I also wanted to know how to deal with your clients which is the end user of your product by selling to them. As of the moment, I am a stay at home mom and I am very much eager and excited to join the Online Job world. I am very much open to learn new things and I have a very good working habit.
