Born into a family of artists and relatives with undiagnosed OCD, I have been surrounded with creative, talented, and organized people. Having three children myself, multi-tasker can very well be my middle name. I graduated with a degree in Home Economics at the University of the Philippines. Here, I learned a number of things that were
very practical and useful. From organizing corporate and social events to teaching children with special needs. I joined an events planning company immediately after graduating and have been with them since. After 3 years with the company, I went back to school to study Interior Design wanting to learn more. Little did I know I would find my husband there :) Having been a partner in the events company for seven years, I have trained new associates in time management, budgeting, and communicating with both clients and suppliers. Being an events planner is more than just being organized and being able to cope with unforeseen situations. One should be very adept in communicating with people. It is, after all, really about people skills. Through the years, with the advent of the computer/internet age, I have been able to learn tools that aid me with work such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop. The internet age has made it easier to communicate ideas, research on new materials and information through social apps and learn new things through tutorials. I honestly don't know how we did it before but with the computer age here, there is no limit to what we can do and achieve.
