This is my current job:
Ensure accuracy of the General Ledger for Sales & Marketing related cost centres - tasks include reviewing of accounts, reviewing of journal entries by reports, some journal preparation & various management accounting tasks.
Coordinate & review of all balance sheet reconciliations - inclusive of all bank Upgrade to see actual infocludes preparation of some reconciliations.
Review all the account reconciliations before the given due date.
Prepare & distribute various reporting for Sales & Marketing management - includes trading statements, expense summaries, stocktake results etc.
Ensure the results are accurate, before the numbers are finalised. Do necessary P&L analysis and investigate on any big variances.
Responsible for calculation of incentives & other ad hoc reporting/analysis as required.
Responsible for the process controls and accounting of all Marketing rebates programs.
Coordinating the payment of all Marketing rebates as required.
Assist with Internal SOX testing.
Provide Accounting support to Retail Ops Manager/Sector Managers/Store Manager/Regional Manager/Wholesale, Export & OE Managers or Retreading & Aviation Managers according to assigned channel.
Continual communications with various managers in business.
Organise timely stocktakes throughout the year. Make sure that correct information is captured. Validate the results after Stocktake is finished.
Ensure that cost and revenue is booked in correct months and proper accounting procedures are followed and standards are followed.
