Profile Description

My name is Denise Dawn Duran and I am a nurse by profession. Before entering college, I was an editorial writer and chief editor in my secondary school paper. I wrote articles both in English and Filipino. I also got to participate in regional competitions for journalism back in the day. After earning my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, I worked as a registered nurse in one of our local tertiary hospitals. I also got to work in a secondary school as a school nurse prior to this. Whilst employed in this institution, I had the chance to work as an online ESL teacher for about 6 months after passing my IELTS exam last October. Furthermore, I experienced working as a data encoder, web researcher, writer, transcriber, and editor from international clients. I enjoy learning new things as well as honing the skills and talents I have. That is why it doesn't bother me to take a different route from what I have been accustomed to especially if such opportunities help me to become better.
