Ronie Horca, AKA Ronsketch, started drawing at the age of two and writing stories at five. Art is not just his passion but his life. He is a quick learner, highly -skilled artist and a creative innovator. He is computer literate and a diligent researcher. He loves humor and tends to drop a touch of humor in everything he does. The unique trait of Ronsketch is that he usually describes himself in the third person. Ronsketch was a valedictorian and a consistent honor student, and the recipient of the 2010 Artist of the Year Award. He was his school's primary artist, craftsman, stage writer, and editor-in-chief. He received multiple awards in writing including editorial writing and in various art competitions including slogan and logo design. He studied Civil Engineering in UPLB, the most prestigious university in the Philippines.
