Hello there! I am Markee and I have an extensive experience in the field of Communication Arts as I graduated with a Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication in 2007 and got hired by a regional television network as a television reporter. I worked with GMA for seven long years and had been into various positions like segment producer and production coordinator for its morning news program and became a correspondent for News and Public Affairs as well. I write different types of stories ranging from straight news, feature, investigative to documentaries. I also do screenplay and copy writing for tri-media advertisements. I was also given the chance to lead the news team as I was recommended to take the highest managerial position being the Executive Producer. After seven years of experience in the mass media industry, I got hired as a full time College Faculty of three Colleges in Davao City where I became an instructor of Television Production, Campus Journalism and Visual Communication master classes. At the moment, I am the Program Head of the Bachelor of Arts in Communication Program of a world-class academic institution in the Asia Pacific Region - Jose Maria College. With my extensive experiences in the field of print and broadcast media, I am confident that I can cross borders with my writing and inspire a lot of people to communicate clearly and effectively.
