I am Bernadette Longno, 28 years of age, living in Manila, Philippines. I last wor was as HRAD Officer in a local real estate company where I handled Compensation & Benefits, Legal, Time Keeping and Office Administration. I also worked for Pancake House Group, one of the most hospitable restaurant groups in the country. I was the Teriyaki Boy’s (company under Pancake House Group) HR Supervisor with 3 HR staff assigned to handle recruitment and compensation & benefits of the brand.
I am really energetic, personable and great communicator. Working in a fast-moving-consumer-goods industry for 6 years and 8 months helped me build confidence and taught me the importance of client adherence. I’ve also got a track record of success. In my last role I use marketing strategy and social media to hire new employees faster. With this, I created manpower advertisement that helped the company to be visible not only as company but as well as an employer. Being also exposed in the Compensation and Benefits, I was able to immediately discuss the salary package that helps to attract or maybe get an immediate feedback from my applicants. My team was able to increase the recruitment lead time from 84% (2011) to 92% (2012) up to our highest achievement which is 94% (2013). I am also interested in Employee Relation to have better employee retention, and be committed to building on the company’s existing flat form.
I’m a people person. I was always happiest and the most satisfied when I was interacting with customer, making sure I was able to meet their needs and giving them the best possible client experience. It was my favorite part of my job and it was showed. My team never received rate lower than 4 out of 5 in exit interviews and most of the time we received compliments from former employees.
