Profile Description

I am a pharmacist by profession and as such, I have in-depth knowledge of drugs, their varying effects and contraindications, be it with other drugs or substances incorporated within and outside the body, food, or even lifestyle.
I served with Watsons as a pharmacist and as such, I have been given the privilege to serve not only as a health care professional which focuses on patient care and service but also as a supervisor who does general managing of the pharmacy. I managed six (6) pharmacy assistants along with another pharmacist to set their schedules and delegate tasks, balancing them to meet operational needs. Aside from this, I also do some back office reports which were made easier due to my affinity with computers. Though I am far from perfect in my software skills,
I can say I am proficient in using Microsoft products and lotus123 to be able to come up with needed documents or presentations. I am self-driven when it comes to learning and will find ways to be able to go forward, even if I had to render over time and initiate research so as to get that extra mile. This is because of my resolve to obtain a stable job and be able to contribute to a wonderful community where it gives me pleasure to motivate people and at the same time getting motivation from them to reach success.
As a supervisor, I coordinated with the store manager and the beauty supervisor to execute promotions and come up with strategies to be able to meet store sales quota and to reach for designated goals. We monitor the store's progress through reports which are segregated into daily, weekly, monthly and annual performances which are compared to other year results giving rise to specific targets. We make sure that standards are followed through self assessment by using records and check lists to ensure quality service is met by the store staff in serving customers.
Being a coach, I give monthly tests to the pharmacy staff to ensure their knowledge is up to date and coaches them in the proper way of dispensing medicines to meet standards and assure quality. I have also trained a stock analyst who was given the primary task of analyzing stocks to monitor demands which leads to increased sales and reduced shrinkage.
As a pharmacist, I make sure that regulatory documents are ready for inspection and that they are updated to ensure store compliance. I also am the drug information provider for customers who needed guidance with their medications, allowing me to hone my customer relation skills at the same time improving my aptitude for sales. Fortunately, due to our store being situated on Pasig near Valle Verde, I had the advantage of having usual encounters with foreigners which allowed me to understand and improve my ability to handle a wide variety of customer who have individual needs. This is also a factor which greatly affected my skills in communication and gave me the opportunity to practice my english to almost a natural american tone.
Although these are some of the listed experiences and skills I have obtained, I still am open to learn and to continue improving myself, which I owe to my desire for more knowledge, success in work and stability in life.
