Profile Description

I've been a Healthcare Virtual Assistant for both ENT and Behavioral providers where I do Virtual Frontdesk tasks, such as scheduling and rescheduling, appointment cancellation, payment collection, and refill requests. I also do Eligibility and Benefits Verification for patients scheduled for appointments—experienced in posting insurance and patient payment.  

I have also been a Medical Billing Collection Specialist. My tasks include calling patients to collect balances and updating addresses to make sure statements are mailed to the correct address, investigating claims that were initially denied by the insurance and resolving them by sending amended claims, appeals with proper documents needed, verifying and charging the patients' responsibilities such as deductibles, co-insurance and copay using the credit card on file, and answering calls from patients for scheduling, rescheduling, schedule cancellations, and billing concerns.
