I am one of those Filipinos who wanted to give up the hassles of a regular job. Because of changing life's priorities, I quit from my office job to experience working on my own desktop. This is to spend more time for my family.
My career journey started as a part-time tutor. Then, I tried being a sales representative for telephone plans. It is an inbound call that demands telephone skills and has a daily sales goal to meet. However, most of my years in the corporate world, I worked as a customer service representative. It is both inbound and outbound calls to resolve overseas customer queries. It is a fast-paced working environment that requires excellent customer service, a variety of office management tasks including computer knowledge, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
And just recently, I worked as a fraud analyst and a customer service representative at the same time. It is both inbound and outbound calls that review routine bank account activity of risky transactions. We take proactive measures to prevent or at least minimize bank losses. These require excellent customer service, independent judgment, decision-making and problem solving abilities.
Thus, working in this new environment, I believe I can deliver the task with high level of professionalism.
