Profile Description

One of the three making up the company's Management Team, which has the responsibility for making decisions about sales, purchasing and operation; Responsible for the fulfillment of all orders accepted by the
company and their delivery at the quality and on the date agreed with customer; Authority to determine the priority of all aspects of production, the activities, hours, place of work and task of the production employees and the utilization of materials and equipment; Enforce the use of PPE and safety guards report any infringements requiring sanction; Responsible for advising the management team of the need for hiring, firing and laying off of employees and for the need for any disciplinary sanctions;
Responsible for informing the Management Team of future materials and equipment requirements for current or new projects so that the production is not interrupted for reason of shortage; As part of the Purchasing team, responsible to minimize expenditures where possible to preserve cash and reduce costs of production; Responsible for liaising with the Admin Manager (sales); Responsible for accounting for and for reporting the Accounting Manager any overtime work and petty cash expenditures; Assist the Managing Director in determining and maintaining up to date costing of all products so the prices may be adjusted to assure a profit from all activities; Continuously examine and develop production methods to reduce costs, reduce defects, increase efficiency of labour and materials using all the resources available including employing the knowledge and skills of the production employees.
