As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Smart Communications Inc. (my last employment), my duties are to test prepaid and postpaid promos from system testing to production testing. The types of testing that we used were System Acceptance testing, where we test the system if all the parameters has been implemented so that there will be no connection problem with the entire testing procedure; Integration Acceptance Testing, where we simulate all possible scenarios that the promo will encounter; User Acceptance Testing, where we retest all that we've done in Integration Acceptance Testing with the presence of different departments so they can validate if we met the business requirements; and finally the Post-Production Testing, where the promo has been launched overnight and we are required to stay at the office and test the promo in actual SIM and Phone. We validate if all the scenarios are correct and accurate. Other testing procedure is Regression Testing, where we retest an existing promo as business requirements has been updated or changed.
