• Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance of Web Servers (IIS 6.0), File Servers and Print Servers
• Active Directory and Shared Drive Management
• Performs basic troubleshooting of backup issues (IBM Tivoli Storage Manager)
• Functions as primary point of escalation for technical issues in a Windows server environment.
• Installs and configures the Operating Systems of the servers and ensures that the servers are running properly.
• Administer and maintains Windows servers that provide services and ensures that its operating systems are efficiently utilized to support continuous and uninterrupted delivery of services.
• Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, access rights in adherence to security and application policies.
• Documents any technical activity, incident handling, system setup and change management.
• Helps in troubleshooting server related incident. Ensures that the request ticket assigned is updated in a timely manner.
• Monitor the performance of the servers.
• Handles technical implementations of the servers.
