I worked as a Call Center Agent for the past 6 years but my first job was being a Teller in a banking industry.
Since my first job also provides service to customers, it was not that difficult to handle my duties as a Call Center Agent, though understanding the language was a challenge, I was able to get a hang of it after a few weeks.
My first call center job was with a small scale call center industry but it taught me a lot about handling American customers who basically call to ask assistance about the product that they bought from us. I was able to also develop my communication skills as well as doing multiple tasks because we have to note every conversation and use different tools in assisting our customers. Working in a call center is not an easy job because we have to be very careful in giving information to our customers, which I always consider. Evaluation or monitoring of calls were done every week for the management to make sure that we follow instructions and if provide good customer service. So far, I was able to pass the evaluation and got good results, which means I was able to help customers with the policies implemented by the company. I can also do data entry, typing, email and customer support.
