Profile Description

My name is Emerlito M. Bordeos, 39 years old.
I have recently completed my contract with the Local Government Unit of the Municipality of Nasugbu, Batangas where I served as a Municipal Administrator. I am currently looking for another work opportunity where I can utilize my knowledge, skills and abilities for causes that would accomplish the goals of the organization I would be working with; and to earn an honest living to support myself and my family.
I have a degree in Bachelors of Science in Business Administration major in Banking and Finance from the University of the East-Manila. During college time, I joined and actively participated in the National Federation of Junior Financial Executives of the Philippines (NFJFINEX), an organization of students taking up the Finance Course, the federation is composed of members from different colleges and universities in Metro Manila, I became the Organization’s President from 1997-1998. I was awarded with the University President Medal for Leadership.
My work experience started with financial research and analysis of financial data of Publicly Listed Companies around the world, that involves using different accounting practices from numerous country of coverage including the United States, I was promoted two times up to the position of Team Manager. I also got employed as a Financial Analyst and Accounting Supervisor where my tasks include budget preparation, financial monitoring and reporting. I have also worked with Third Party Administrators of Healthcare Funds in Lisle, Illinois where I gained knowledge in healthcare brokerage. Moreover, I had a very good experience as an Operations Manager in financial research and translation where I gained a solid first-hand experience in setting up a new company, its manpower capacity building and human resources management, business process formulation and infrastructure planning and allocation.
More recently, my work as a Municipal Administrator instilled in me more knowledge, experience and passion in serving my fellow men in all aspects of life. I was involved in all programs and projects of Budget and Finance, Education, Youth and Sports, Health and Social Services, Peace and Order, Tourism and Industry Related Activities, Environment and Sanitation, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Infrastructure. I was deeply involved in Human Resources Management and Planning. As a Municipal Administrator, it is incumbent upon my position to make sure manpower situation is effective and efficient.
In all the years of my experience, I have become good in communication with personalities from all walks of life. I can fluently read, write and speak Filipino and English. I am technically literate in computer applications. I believe that patience and hard-work pay off in due time and I value most friendship and honesty, and I pray.
