Hey there,
Glad you're here!
I'm currently working full-time remotely for a very interesting software company in Italy since late 2015 and from there I shifted my focus to the modern web for building different solutions using major JS frameworks(Vue/Nuxt, React, and Angular). My role as a frontend developer is to help build and maintain different solutions in frontend for the web of the companies software products. That includes building a CRM solution for the power market(Electric and Gas). Creating custom consoles(for a cloud project, for bot creation/management app where users can create bot without technical knowledge with doing it in code, and creating a console for a management solution for HR to help empower employees). And to conversational transformation solutions with messaging, bots, etc.
Before that, I started as a full-stack developer doing custom web development with PHP, WordPress, CodeIgniter, and jQuery since 2010.
I have had my hands full mostly with custom WordPress projects with mobile responsive compatibility, during these times. My experience includes building just a simple dynamic corporate website, property listing sites, eCommerce sites, to a little
more custom-like using WordPress to build a custom site showcasing videos from organizational achievements. The site has the following features; video playlist, related videos, and category videos. There's also a feature for advance search that returns multiple results from creators, profiles, individual videos, tagged, and shared videos.
Another one is basically a WordPress site that showcases wedding inspirations, materials, supplies from wedding enthusiasts, suppliers, and alike. The site comes with a separate portal for soon-to-be weds to help them with their wedding endeavors. The portal is also built with custom WordPress and supports the following features(wedding organizer, budget calculator, inspiration boards, and a personal wedding website creator).
Lastly, my most ambitious one with WordPress yet is a multisite website creator for hoteliers. With this one, I am joined with another full stack developer. The idea for the build is in the form of a custom theme but actually behaves more like a framework where users can plan, create and modify site contents, images, or videos without coding. But it also supports code for more advanced users. The framework can support template creation and management, so users have the option to choose from a collection of existing templates or create a new one. Adding custom plugins, widgets and shortcodes are also possible for technical users. And the framework also comes with a promotional feature, a booking plugin integration, and has a feature for a "one-click" button that utilizes WordPress multisite capability to generate a fully functioning website right away. The framework's purpose is to help hoteliers efficiently create an instant web presence for hotels in the form of a website with the integration of the companies core product - the booking engine; to help hoteliers showcase and sell their rooms, services, and promotions online to increase sales.
With CodeIgniter, I had one project I built about promotions web app that behaves more like a newsletter content management system with the following features(user groups, admin creation/management, newsletter creation/management, and generation, template creation/management, create/manage/publish campaigns, and
As for the basics, obviously, I can set up your website's basic architecture from the ground up. Your domain(DNS),
If you're still here to this point, I have a small fun fact for you. I'm just as excited about the results for this one but I wouldn't advise you to give me this responsibility because I don't really want to do it. According to me, with my little knowledge in SEO, I tried to effectively index a friend's website to a google search engine and in just a few days, the website somehow managed to rank on page 1 from google search results. Of course, you can type your domain name to the google search bar and you'll get your site on top. But if you're like everyone whose searches were more like asking questions to Google, this is where it comes into play. To make this possible, I come up with a simple yet unique phrase you are more likely to ask google if you're looking for an affordable insurance provider in the Philippines. Don't take my word for it, just go to google search and type "insurance agency for the Masang Pilipino" and you'll get the spectacrom website shown on page 1. Again, I'm super excited that it worked out, for sure SEO guys know better; and this is not something that I'm going to do for my task. Let's get straight to the point, I might also have a little know-how from a developer standpoint regarding SEO considerations.
As for my core skills, I have listed them below for your perusal.
Frontend:
With UI/UX, I strive in creating the simplest and really idiot-proof(as I call it) user interface. And I make sure users get the simplest and straightforward experience they can ever have on the web.
I'm particularly inspired by one of Elon's quotes regarding the argument for building the starship booster legs. He says... "The best part is no part. The best step is no step." This can also be very true with creating UI/UX experience on the web.
Apparently, the booster turns out to be no legs at all, and instead it will be caught by a catching tower while hovering. But, let's just leave the "catching tower" argument for another day, ok?!

I've come a long way for sure but for developers to be relevant..." never stop learning" is the mantra. Personally, I believe in the saying... "You're only as good as your last work", so that's why it's very important to not be comfortable and to continue learning new things especially in the field of innovation where technology is moving so fast.
If you find my experience interesting enough, so probably you think I can help build your business, then you can shoot me a message and we can discuss how I can help your project.
