Assessment:
• Admit patients
• Take accurate patient
history and vital signs
• Assess patient’s health status and complaints and refer to physician if necessary.
Planning:
• Works with co-workers to establish goals and priorities for nursing intervention.
• Makes Nursing Diagnosis and Chart appropriate nursing orders.
Implementation:
• Gives total care to assigned patient in accordance to patient care plan.
• Explains procedures and treatments to patients.
• Administer and observes any untoward effects of medications and IV therapy.
• Assists patients with their activities of daily living.
• Give Health teaching.
Evaluation:
• Evaluates patient’s environment for safety and total well-being.
• Evaluates outcomes and affectivity of nursing interventions.
