Profile Description

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science major in Software Engineering from MSU-IIT.
After my studies, I worked as a home-based VA for a few months before moving on an  working as an outsourced technical recruiter -- sourcing, screening, interviewing and placing US citizens or green card holders for different IT positions in US-based companies.
I later dUpgrade to see actual info that it was time to make my mark in the IT industry. So I landed a position as Software Tester for a e-Learning company where I worked on their inhouse web-based software system. That's where it all started for me. 
From there I have worked on a contract project and moved on to other companies after that. Currently, I am connected to an Australian company specializing in web-based systems that designed to help recruiters manage projects, candidates and onboard successful applicants. 
Overall, I am quite adept to all things manual testing mostly on web-based systems -- functional, sanity, smoke and regressions tests including compatibility and performance testing, and I've had my hands on a bit of mobile testing a few years back. I write and update test cases, I keep sanity test files up to date for every change/improvements made to the system for easier reference during regressions tests. I am proficient in tools like JIRA, Trello, Confluence, TestRails,  BrowserStack and a bit of Selenium IDE. 
I wish to further enhance my expertise in this area so I am looking for opportunities with a remote work setup and preferably has a flexible schedule.

I am also interested in a VA position that's all around hands on as this is a great way to enhance my management skills. I have only a few months experience in this area but I love learning new things and I catch on pretty quick.
