Profile Description

I am a nurse by profession but later in 2013 I decided to take online jobs. At first as an ESL teacher where in I will handle a 20 to 30 minutes class to Korean and Chinese students. We are provided with modules so basically our job is to guide the student in their reading skills and to correct their grammars along the discussion. Then after the said class, we will make a feedback as how they are doing so far. We focus more on pronunciation, intonation, stress and grammars. And with this kind of responsibility, my teaching skills has improve a lot. Since we cannot choose our students, so being flexible in terms of adapting to their attitude and level of understanding is a must. Patience is given to me maybe because I am a mother of two and it just comes naturally. Since Koreans and Chinese have different cultures, being knowledgeable in their respective culture is also essential in order for me to build rapport and eventually earn their trust. And most importantly, cliché as it may seems , I love the job and the sense of fulfillment is priceless.
