I worked as a Technical Support Representative for 4 years. The accounts that I handled were all about internet technical support. As a technical support representative, my duties and responsibilities include interacting with customers through phone in a courteous and professional manner, helping them in problems with their cable/dsl/dial-up internet service, scheduling appointments for a technician visit, collecting payments, up-selling products or upgrades, and assisting customers with other services offered by the company including emails, home wireless connectivity, mobile device applications, and security software. It was also my responsibility to ensure that the key performance indexes set by the company are met consistently.
I am confident with my skills in using MS Office. I use MS Word and MS Excel a lot though I'm not an expert in Excel. I use the internet everyday and I can research if the job requires me to do so. I use Google Drive and Google Docs for my files so I'm really familiar in using these internet applications. I have a bit of experience in working with Wordpress although I am far from being an expert at it. I'm still in the process of learning it. I have handled an internet part-time job before which utilized Wordpress to add new videos to the client's website. I was in charge of getting new videos and updating the page with those videos.
