I am Patrizia S. Obias. I am a BS Mathematics undergrad from University of the Philippines – Los Baños. I am currently not enrolled due to financial incapacity thus I am looking to get employed and save up for my schooling later. I am currently working at Kumon – Kamagong San Antonio Center as a Higher Math Assistant. I work there five hours in a four-day work week. I consider that as a part time job hours-wise consequentially leading to my application here.
I read articles on the internet on my free time, especially those about the latest in the gadget world. My frequently used applications on my phone include Feedly and Flipboard. I also read fanfictions and other stories on my down time. I maintain a blog on Tumblr and occasionally write my musings there whenever I feel like it. I think my interest in writing, reading and being up-to-date with the most trivial - also non trivial - topics give me an advantage if I will be selected to be a part of this workforce.
Contrary to the notion that people who do well in Math tend to communicate in English poorly, I claim that I am able to commune and write soundly. Some of my friends tend to seek for my help on their college papers may it be proof reading or sentence construction and I pride myself with that.
These are facts about me that I hope would help you consider my application. In addition to everything I have just stated, although I know that I am able to write and communicate well in English, I also know alongside with that that any criticism will be taken constructively and will be enforced.
