Profile Description

Currently working as an Offshore Nurse-Medic / Radio Operator in SELF PROPELLED JACK UP BARGES operated by GULF MARINE SERVICES (GMS) (www.gmsuae.com), Abu Dhabi UAE working for various Middle East offshore projects with SAUDI ARAMCO, ADNOC Group of Companies, ADMA-OPCO, ZADCO, Occidental Petroleum- OXY, TOTAL ABK , Hyundai Heavy Industries, Mc Dermott, TECHNIP and Shell.
Onboard, the following are my duties and responsibilities:
- Providing medical treatment for ill and injured personnel on-board
-Activates MedEvac
in case of medical and trauma emergencies following company procedures
- Maintains the health record of personnel on-board
-Running the site clinic independently and ensuring it is maintained in high standard following company procedures.
-Conducting Accommodation and Hygiene inspection
-Conducting Medevac Drills in coordination with the Barge Master, Client representatives and OIM.
-Inspects and maintains eye wash stations and first aid boxes in the site.
-Maintains drug inventory and stocks are enough on the site clinic.
-Briefs on-board crew on first aids including Basic Life Support-BLS and health topics.
-Actively participating in Safety Meeting sand contributes with relevant points.
-Operating communication system onboard.
-Distributes communication while maintaining confidentiality.
-Maintains communication to boats and choppers coming and leaving the location, monitors weather Condition and maintains POB list updated all the time.
