Profile Description

I am an Industrial Engineer graduated at University of San Carlos- Technological Center.
I have been exposed to Procurement, Buying/Purchasing, Production Planning & Inventory Control, Warehousing and Distribution for 10 years.
As
a Purchasing Officer I am inclined to assist the Purchasing Manager in the implementation of an efficient system of purchasing, consistent to the requirement and policies of the Hotel. Is responsible for the sourcing of supplies for the over-all needs of the hotel, to obtain products of the right quality and quantity at the right price and time and from the right sources.
When I was an Inventory Planning & Replenishment Supervisor, I am Responsible for supervising the entire workforce of monitoring, distribution and timely replenishment of Finished Good Stocks to all stores nationwide. Developing the initial financial strategy for sales, markdowns, and profit down to the style level for brands and sub-brands for categories in retail stores to achieve agreed upon financial targets. To ensure optimum inventory levels in the stores with the objectives of maximizing sales and inventory turnover in support of overall company profitability. To develop a system that would enable to control inventory without affecting sales.
Currently I am with Accounts Receivable. I usually verify and ensure all transfers to Ar are properly supported & approved credit facility. Bills & charges are scrutinized before the issuance of Statement of Account and Collection. Timely & accurate application of payments. Approval on adjustments & discounts before posting. Timely & accurate AR Aging.
I have completed trainings for Customer Service Satisfaction, and surpassed seminar on Food Safety. For quite sometime, I am engage in the Environmental Group of the hotel and have completed Occupational Safety and Hazards.
I have been in the capacity of Purchasing in the hotel industry equivalent for 7 years.
Currently, I am connected with Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, from November 2005 to present. From the pre-opening to year 2012 I was with Purchasing, but due lateral developments and cross trainings I was transferred to Accounts Receivables up to this date. .
As an Hotelier, I have completed trainings for Customer Service Satisfaction, and surpassed seminar on Food Safety. For quite sometime, I am engage in the Environmental Group of the hotel and have completed Occupational Safety and Hazards. I am a Certified Department Trainer.
I am a team player and can work with less supervision I know I have the capacity to do my job well because I am equipped with knowledge and skills. I am motivated to work as an individual with driving passion.
