Profile Description

I have worked in a local telecommunications company here in the Philippines for 8 years. I was a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for the first two years and was transferred to the Quality Monitoring Team wherein what we do is to screen calls answered by our CSRs. Meaning, I listen to their conversation and rate it "passed" or "failed" based on how the CSR answered the subscriber's question. This is to ensure the accuracy and quality of service given to our subscribers. As a Quality Monitoring Specialist, I was also incharged of making sure that the subscriber is treated politely and with respect. Apart from listening to calls to check their quality, I was also assigned to audit all other modifications done by CSRs to a subscriber's account. I also used to screen documents submitted would-be subscribers to our CSRs to make sure that there are no fraudsters and all documents are authentic.
Working for 8 years in one of the best telcos in the Philippines has given me a lot of opportunities that I am really grateful for. I can say that it has made me more competent and confident in the field of telecommunications and customer service. It has also challenged me to do my very best in everything that I do.
Prior to working in the telco industry, I have worked for two years in the accounting department of a private company (paint manufacturing company). Aside from accounting works, I also did a lot of admin tasks in that company. I can say that it has prepared me well when I took the opportunity of exploring the bigger atmosphere of the corporate world when I got employed in one of Philippines largest telcos.
Right now, I am a mommy blogger. I write mostly about motherhood, product reviews, events, my advocacies and the likes. I am using the Blogger platform but I used to own a self hosted site under Wordpress. So, although I am far from being an expert, I know the basics of Wordpress. I also know how to use MS Office like Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I like editing photos, too, and know the basics of Photoshop. Still not an expert also, but I am very willing to learn Photoshop. Sometimes, I use online photoediting sites like Picmonkey.
