I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers held in Cebu City, Philippines last August 2004.
I have lived and worked in Japan for 3 and half years; a year and half at IL CENTRO, an Italian Language School as an Educational Assistant and two years at Gyosei International School as an English teacher.
Currently, I am back in the Philippines and have taught for a year at Saceda Youth Lead School at Candau-ay, Dumaguete City as an English Teacher.
In summary to all of my educational and working background, I can say that I have sufficient pedagogical knowledge and ample experience in my field of work. My experience in my home country and that of Japan helped me to be flexible and accepting to different kinds of people, culture and different points of view. I also learned the value of teamwork with my co-teachers in making a healthy and effective learning environment for students. Yet, I am still willing to learn more from different people with various experiences.
“For years, I maxed out my hours, got burnt out, and the quality of my work would start to go down. I decided to take the leap, hire correctly, and now it frees up my time to focus on growing the business.”
