Profile Description

My name is Catherine Nicole G. Tolentino, 22 years of age. I am a graduate from the University of Asia and the Pacific with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Economy and have completed the coursework of the Master of Arts in Political Economy with Specialization in International Relations and Development. Having work experience of less than a year I believe that the knowledge and training I have garnered both as a student and an employee is useful and will be of great aid in the work place for the job vacancy of Regional Project Coordinator. What I lack in professional experience I guarantee will be replaced with my drive and determination to effectively and efficiently perform tasks.
Under the Institute we have had courses such as Philippine Politics and Governance, Political Thought, International Relations, Comparative Political Economy, Theories of Development and Underdevelopment, Philippine Development, Managing Governance and Public Policy Analysis with these courses I have had to create extensive research papers, essays, as well as participate in debates and public speaking engagements. Also I’ve engaged in projects with local government units and also in government offices. I’ve worked as an Intern at the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines in 2012. When I was a student I have also organized events under two different organizations of my university and also events with a Non-Government Organization namely My Shelter Foundation as I was part of their Logistics Team for their International Project Design Against the Elements. As more time and projects pass I’ve gained new experiences that would make me a more efficient and determined person, and I believe that I can be a great addition to your team.
