Profile Description

I am a native English speaker with an extensive history of working on US Government contracts. I have managed projects of varying sizes and complexity in fields as diverse as Environmental Rehab and MWR operations. I am experienced in developing time tables, cost projections, contract proposals, workforce estimates and work guidelines.
I am comfortable both working in the field as on construction projects and operating in an office setting. I Have spent time as the liaison between my company and command groups making me comfortable in giving presentations and fielding questions from rather demanding clients.
I have a good working knowledge of MS Office applications and have been supporting myself and family for the last two years as a writer focused mainly on SEO optimization of content for web-based clients. I have also had a fair amount of success as a copywriter, creating high sales conversion copy.
I am used to working in a multicultural environment and managing groups from varied backgrounds. I take great pride in being able to get the best from my people while helping them to develop and grow. Of course a large part of that is understanding that an effective leader must also be a conscientious follower and that you can expect more in return than you are willing to give.
