Being a copyeditor and working at a publishing/content industry for almost 3 years, I have gained and practiced the necessary skills required to furnish a manuscript and fulfill clients' needs. With an enormous amount of experience, under Springer account, I have handled and edited a wide variety of topics, either in MS or PDF files. I became fully familiar with the manual guide, style editing aspects, and standard style guide. Using the required standard references, I worked with a critical eye for detail to ensure the files are free from errors (spelling, punctuation, tenses, subject-verb agreement, etc.). I have done quite a bit of writing articles and I am also proficient with the Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Apart from that, I have also experienced working as an HR personnel in a hospital-based setting when I was still in college. I became well acquainted with the basic operations and organizational coordination, although it is far opposite from the virtual-assistant-kind-of-work world. That is why I am willing to be trained as virtual assistant (secretarial). I am motivated, self-directed, and can work well under pressure.
