For several years after college, I manned an internet café from 2006-2010 owned by a keen in Cebu City. At that time I did not consider myself employed, because I had no fixed salary, and did not have a single government-mandated benefit, but my aunt, who owns the internet café would give me an allowance, I was also living with them so everything was free.It was just more of me giving them a favor because nobody else could man the shop. That’s when my knowledge on computers and knack on customer service were honed, because I had to function as an all-around attendant to all the services we offered at the shop. Until I realized, I wanted to work in a BPO Industry, fortunately I was hired, and so I joined Eperformax Contact Center as a customer support specialist, wherein we would take care of all the issues between the buyer and the seller,
and would act as amiddleman for every transaction. Being so, it was not very easy because we would use our own judgment, on certain situations that require our intervention as a customer support representative to make both parties satisfied. After almost a year I decided to transfer to a different company, it was during that time that Teletech offered a very attractive salary package. And so,I joined Teletech in 2010 as a technical support representative
and lasted for 2 years and 7 mos. , we would help the customers
set up their new printers to work with their computers, processing replacement
if customer’s printer is already out-of –warranty, and make every call an opportunity to have a sale. I resigned from Teletech in September 2013 because I had to nurse my father whose condition is deteriorating because of diabetes. Currently I am a home-based ESL instructor since I quit from Teletech. With my work experience ,I am confident that I am able contribute a lot to your company by using my technical and customer service weapons.
