o monitor training programs either to newly hires or to tenured employees as may be requested
o give lectures/orientation on topics including body systems, standard transcription practice, etc.
o make the necessary preparations for the training program to be conducted
o assist the training officer in screening of applicants based on the requirements of the training program
o assist the training officer in conducting the program proper based on the set program specifics and guidelines.
These include editing of trainees’ reports, counseling, trainees and recording of scores.
o regularly evaluate and inform the participants of their status/evaluation

o edit medical reports submitted by medical transcriptionist with focus on quality and compliance to client specifics.
o recognize, interpret and evaluate inconsistencies, discrepancies and inaccuracies in medical dictation, and appropriately edit, revise and clarify them without altering the meaning of the dictation or changing the dictator’s style
o record errors incurred by medical transcriptionist in the transcribed report
o transmit reports back to the local system for final audit or submit directly to the clients if specified

o interpret and transcribe dictation by physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient
