Profile Description

I am very well versed in English, both oral and written. I did research, data gathering and encoding for my Univesity's Marketing Communication Office to be used in newsletters or other materials. Proof-read articles and wrote some press releases as well. Telesales was one skill I developed while working for an IT/Computer distributor. As a Marketing & Personal Assistant, I put together sales and marketing kits, and presentations using desktop publishing applications like MS Publisher, Adobe Photoshop and Pagemaker, and MS Powerpoint. When I was assisting in my dad's business, I did bookkeeping and basic accounting such as preparing balance sheets and income statements. Being a restaurant supervisor and hotel receptionist, I was able to interact with different people, thus developing my customer service skills, as well as inventory management, budgeting and general administrative skills. I am internet savvy and work daily using emails. During my free time, I try my hand at blogging, though this venture has not yet taken off the ground. I am proactive and a self-starter. I can work with very minimal supervision.
