I work as a bookkeeper in the Local Government Unit for a year. As a bookkeeper, I maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions; balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries; maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries; balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries; maintains historical records by filing documents and prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
In order for to widen my skills, I tried a different job and became an ESL teacher for 3 years. As an ESL teacher, I teach the basics of the English language to Korean and Chinese students coming from different academies; provides intensive language teaching sessions to professional Korean and Chinese citizens wanting to further their knowledge on the English language and assures a fun-filled learning approach in every class being handled.
