I used to work as a Customer Support Representative for 2 telco from the U.S. And I was trained to comply to a lot of task such as opening the customers account and record/update the account information, resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, following up to ensure resolution. I also learn how to attract potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting other products and services for the subscribers. Multi-tasking is one of the skills i gained from this experience. The work also trained me to handle different kinds of customers. Well, irate customers are not that easy so talked to and they are going to test your patience. That is understandable because most of them are not satisfied with the service or product.
