Profile Description

Responsibilities – Developer:
? Develop EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) maps (inbound or outbound) based on required document, structures, and specifications from clients.
? Coordinate technical queries to EDI specs, Analyst and communicate status of map development to supervisor, and other interface parties.
? Provide everyday support to resolve all EDI transaction issues
? Apply simple – complex changes and enhancements to EDI map data translation process/logic.
? Troubleshoot of translation logs to ensure efficient EDI document flow.
? Perform tests on all new interface and transactions to resolve all business issues and provide support to interfaces and processes for efficient flow of information and maintain all change requests and integration projects.
? Analyze all incoming discrepancy reports for all EDI processes and develop all data maps and coordinate schedule and unscheduled maintenance on all application programs.
Responsibilities – Quality Assurance:
? Consistently create test cases/scenarios and write expected output according to specifications.
? Form test files according to the test cases/scenarios.
? Run tests and perform black box functional testing.
? Verify generated output vs. expected output
? Validate other map/project components (readme, map documentation, blue book, TP profile) according to QA checklist/process.
? Track problems, bugs, and fixes.
? Coordinate status to analyst or even Project Manager.
? Provide internal schedules depending on the map complexity and resource availability.
? Contribute to RCA process and come up with info sharing on how to prevent defects from occurring.
Information Technology
? Software Applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Picture Manager)
? Experience analyzing Business Requirements for software projects.
? Database Management through MS Access, MySQL
? Knowledgeable in EDI standards (EDIFACTS, ANSI X12, SAP IDOC, XML, Rosettanet)
? Operating Crystal Reports for SAP Business One
? Familiar with data warehousing
? Knowledge in Systems Analysis and Design
? Data Communication for Information Management
