As a backoffice/email support representative for a UK-based business magazine, I handle customer's queries regarding their subscription. I assist customer/s who would like to check on the status of their subscription, forward any leads (new lead/renewal subscription) to sales team and make sure that they are received by the sales team on-time.
I also assist customer with their requests if some details on their subscription/s needs to be amended. Amendments requests are forwarded to subscriptions team and confirm with customer once request is done.
On the other hand, I amend invoices upon customer's request (if in case they would like to amend any information on the billing or delivery details). I processed receipt request once payment from the customer is posted on the account and sent it to them directly thru the email address we have on record.
If a customer requests for a refund, I am making sure that it is immediately sent to our allocations team for further investigation and CC our account manager to make sure that all refund procedures are done.
As a backoffice/email representative, you should b very keen with details, answer emails on-time to make sure that all leads are processed by the sales team, and be very careful whenever you handle a sensitive issue/concern from customers.
