This is my first try to apply for a home based job. Four years ago I was hired as a technical support representative for Dell computers.
Along the way I have experienced more that just being a TSR, I was transferred to another account (AT&T) as a customer service representative. The calls I receive are different every time, I don't claim success on previous calls even if there were great calls simply because every call is so much different from each other. And that's what makes my work interesting, they are totally different individuals, all ages ... angry ... happy ... frustrated.. sometimes awesome callers!
It is always a new experience, my job is to resolve their concerns whatever it may be, I do not have a script to answer their queries, I only have the facts about their account and we get to agree about the resolution at hand. After 2 years I became a Subject Matter Expert which handles Sup calls from time to time and also direct our agents to the company processes they need to work on with the caller's concerns.
I also became a Product Ready Trainer which handles review classes for tenured agents and also handles new Product training for our new hires.
The discipline I acquired in these 4 years in the company made me more optimistic in every situation I am in and have also discovered that being positive is more productive than anything else. I resigned last December 2013 and I am now ready to face a new challenge, that of being a home based employee. I look forward to be a part of your company and experience to work in a new environment!
