Profile Description

I am a Registered Nurse who has a moderate experience in technical and creative writing. I was previously employed in the administration at Manuel J. Santos Hospital as a researcher and technical writer and as an Emergency Care Unit Nurse. My most recent work is as Clinical Supervisor at LibertyHealth Diagnostic Laboratory and Clinics. My work experience also includes a brief stint as a writer and copy editor for BXU Hub, a
local group of online writers, trainer for the Urios Public Speaking and Debate Circle, and as a lecturer for the Nursing Board Exams Review. In college, I have dabbled into writing, debate, and public speaking. I have competed in various regional and national levels for all three, from which I have won a few awards such as 7th Best Speaker at the 14th Mindanao Parliamentary Debate Championship and Quarter-finalist at the 11th National Debate Championship, and Best Adjudicator, Butuan City Parliamentary Debate Championship. I pioneered the publication of my college department's paper, The Nightingale's Pen, for which I am a creative editor. I recently contributed an article to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, and submitted a poem to a poetry circle in Davao.
