I'm a graduate of Accounting. My first job was with Western Wats Philippines Inc. I worked there as a Market Researcher. We call US households and conduct surveys. May it be political or consumer surveys. I stayed there for about a year. I was working and studying at the same time.
My next job was with Sykes Asia Inc. It was just a contractual post. I worked there for only a couple of months as an HR Marketing Associate. I was in charge with the mining of potential candidates online for our company, encoding of applicants' names and contact numbers in our database, calling out applicant for initial screening, and holding job fairs offsite. The company was supposed to absorbed me for another 10 months but I figure that 10 months is a long time to still be in a contractual post. Good thing, I heard of a job vacancy from a big company as well.
My latest job was with Telstra powered by Teletech. I initially applied for the call center agent post. When I heard that they're looking for an HR Recruiter, I asked if I was qualified for the job. They said that the job required atleast a year experience as a recruiter which disqualified me for the post but I was insistent of getting an interview with the manager to which they approved. Fortunately, I got the job as an HR Recruiter. While I was there, I process applicants. I conduct their initial interview, administer their exams, conduct their behavioral interview which was equivalent to their final interview, up until the handing out of job offers and even doing some admin tasks such as making our daily reports, weekly reports and monthly reports. I reason why I left the company was because my employer didn't give me the allowances stipulated in the contract that I signed. Instead of filing a complaint, I opted to resign.
