Profile Description

I have been a Customer Care Advocate of TELUS International Philippines from March 13, 2006 to April 14, 2010. Included in my job responsibilities are assisting customers with enrolling for services the company offers including presentation of company products, handling billing concerns and helping customers understand their bill, review accounts for possible credit extensions, arrangements and process online payments.
Owing to that experience I was hired by NCO Philippines as a Collections Agent – Collector III from September 16, 2011 to February 21, 2012. As an employee of the company I review statuses of delinquent accounts and initiates collection action by contacting each account according to the due date which requires probing until I am able to contact a responsible party to make a payment. I also need to identify discrepancies in the receivables on each account, documents the account thoroughly and submits account for appropriate adjustment. In addition to that, I needed to confidently convince the customers of the validity of invoices that are legitimate and then expresses urgency of payment by encouraging customers to pay using a “check by phone”, or express mail.
My most recent employment is with Sutherland Global Services. I am a customer care advocate for an online payment processor. I assist customers with signing up for an online account (Personal or Business), help them understand and verify the validity of the charges on their funding sources, submits credit requests, assure them that their information are safe and secure and not shared to third parties, create buttons for their websites and online store.
Being a customer care advocate is not easy but with understanding and patience can be most rewarding. Gaining customer's trust and satisfying their needs is the key to a good customer service.
