I am a jack of all trades specializing in various fields from information technology to publishing and research.
Being a degree holder of Computer Engineering, I was trained in the academe in both hardware and software. In terms of computer hardware, I am knowledgeable in Circuit and Digital design as well as Electronics and Automation. Also, in the software aspect, I have undergone training on Software Development and Systems Analysis and Design accomplishing several projects. Among programming languages I have studied are C, VB.NET, Java, Machine Language, Programmable IC, Android, and MySQL. Among projects I have developed are:
-Faulty Brake Warning System for Public Utility vehicles in the Philippines (Logic Circuits)
-Stethosphone: An Android Application for Recording and Transmitting Heart and Lung Sounds (Java Android and Digital Signal Processing)
-School of Engineering and Architecture Students' Multi-purpose Voting System (VB.NET and MySQL)
In terms of publishing, I served as an editor in two university publications and been a contributor in several news websites. Through my experience in publishing, I gained knowledge in Layout and Graphic Design using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I have also knowledge in News Writing and Copyreading. Not only that, I am also an experienced Photographer and won several photo contests internationally (World Youth Alliance) and locally (Catholics for RH and Travel Foto Expo). I am also experienced with the use of Adobe Lightroom for processing photos.
Finally, in the field of research, I have worked as a Research Assistant in the Center for Renewable Energy and Alternative Technologies in Davao City. I have conducted various researches on field and in the internet depending on the topics I'm tasked to research in.
I strongly believe that an efficient individual does not hinder himself or herself from learning thus I am very willing to be trained to continue expanding my knowledge and skill set.
