Profile Description

I have always been interested in the English language and that made me choose to take up BA English Studies. Since then, the jobs I have had were related to teaching English and translating medical documents in English. I taught Koreans during my last year in college and even became their translator when they needed to transact important businesses. After graduating, I first became an IELTS instructor with a bandwidth score of 8 (I took the Academic test in May 2007). My students were mostly nurses, engineers, and welders. I also hosted an English-learning and awareness segment on a visa-related TV show. I soon became a Quality Assistant, a Supervisor, and an initial trainer in Essay Writing for an English Academy. As a sideline, I sometimes back-translate Tagalog medical documents to English to check the accuracy of the translated materials. I also have experience in admin support work as well as handling the back-end support of websites.
I am available for short and long term projects. I know how to manage my time well and I make sure that I do what is correct or beyond what is expected.
