Profile Description

I have worked for DMD (Diaz, Murillo, Dalupan and Company, CPA's), the top 5 external auditing firm in the Philippines. I have been assigned to various audit clients in various industry such as Cooperatives, Schools, Non-profit organization, retailing and merchandising, and manufacturing. In this role, I have seasoned my self in examining all types of accounts from Assets, Liabilities and Equity to Revenue and Expenses and other financial considerations. We used Advance MS Excel (Pivot Table and Macro) as our main software in performing and establishing working papers and actual preparation of Financial Statements.
I have also worked for Leslie Franchising Systems, Incorporated, an affiliate company of Leslie Corporation, one of the leading companies in food and snack industry in the Philippines. I functioned as Internal Auditor and Compliance Auditor at the same time. In my role as an internal auditor, I used BaseCamp to facilitate audit findings discussion and improvements. As an internal auditor, my main role was to check if every department and production lines were
functioning as expected. To effectively highlights particular area in the company that is more susceptible for errors and abuses, I use Risk-based auditing principles. This required to acquire in-depth knowledge of each and every portion of the company for me to assess which areas needs focus and improvements, and which one that can smoothly functioned even if less monitored. I actually completed a comprehensive audit report regarding the Commissary and Warehouse. In this report, weaknesses of internal control were identified as well as areas that do not even had a internal control placed. I had served useful recommendations that were indeed implemented as approved by the company's president. Also with this, I was promoted as an senior auditor with corresponding reasonable increase in my salary.
In my role as a Compliance Auditor, I was tasked to visit various franchise stores (Minute Burger) and assess the stores in its compliance to Franchise Agreement.
