Professionally, I have worked for Stream Global Services as a Technical Support Representative (TSR) within my three-year leave from college (2007-2010). During my tenure, I have acquired skills in sales, customer service and accounting while primarily providing technical support over the phone.
I returned to school later on to finish my undergraduate degree in Physics. As part of the degree requirements, I authored a thesis on X-ray reflectivity from thin films. Apart from scientific research and experimentation, the experience polished my skills in writing, presentation design and execution as well as programming. It also dramatically developed a desire to start a long-term career in writing and programming.
I have limited professional experience in writing. However, I maintain a personal blog of varied contents just to have a consistent channel of showing off my writing skills. I have a solid grammar foundation. I am mostly sensitive to and totally aware of my use of articles (i.e. definite and indefinite) in grammar construction. I'm at my best when writing critiques and/or narratives of just about anything. I tend to terminate my articles with future outlooks.
I have once authored a literary piece, a poem in Filipino and was awarded a college-level prize.
Apart from English and Filipino, I am also a native speaker of Waray and Cebuano and a beginner at French and Korean.
In programming, I write codes most comfortably in Python language. I also have some basic level of exposure to C and C++ programming. I am willingly capable of learning other languages if the need arises.
