Profile Description

I write about motherhood, parenting and my personal advocacies. I started blogging in 2011, a few months after I gave birth to my first child. My purpose in blogging back then was just to share my breastfeeding journey and record my child's milestones. After almost three years of blogging, I now want to take this profession more seriously.
I have attended several workshops on how to improve as a blogger and writer. I have also committed to pursuing my blog's advocacies with the purpose of inspiring my readers to join me and be part of these causes. I am currently working on the technical and creative aspects of my blog. I'm also working on the following topics to be my blog's main advocacies: raising children to be readers, preschool homeschool, mothers with advocacies.
I am also managing Facebook pages for organizations and their causes. I'm in charge of posting updates, relevant articles and photos, answering comments on FB pages that I manage. I also conduct trainings and workshops on citizen journalism and social media among workers and labor advocates.
