Profile Description

I am a hardworking individual, i am open and willing to learn new things. After graduation back in 2001, i rushed onto job huntings and landed a job in a travel agency (selling domestic and international airline tickets, ferry tickets, domestic and international packages). After a year, i transferred to another newly opened travel agency where i was able to learn a lot of things about the nature of our work because on my previous employer, i was only exposed to domestic airline ticketing and domestic ferries. But when i transferred to another agency, i was able to explore new things like i learned how to book international tickets, i learned how to make tour packages, i established a lot of contacts because i helped our office to have more clients, since we are a wholesaler of domestic airlines just like the previous company where i've worked with. And i was happy with the results of my hardwork because we have gained clients like sub agents (those who are also selling airline tickets but are not wholesalers). After seven years of working there, i've decided to put up my own small travel agency last feb. 08, 2008, with my friend (one of our sub agents) as my business partner. We started out with one outlet since we don't have that big savings, until our outlets became five. We've also experienced a lot of ups and downs on our employees and in the business itself while starting up until we've decided to close our two outlets after one year of operation since the location was far from our place we don't gain that much, most of the time it was just
breakeven. Only three outlets are currently operating right now, so far so good. We do have 2 staffs in each outlet that man the business, my friend and i just monitor it everyday (their sales, issuances, their deposits, expenses etc...). I'm applying here because i want a new experience, and i believe i can share a little of what i've
learned in putting up my own business as well as in managing it, everything that i've learned in school and with my previous employers also. Our outlets are running smoothly right now, with God's grace and guidance by giving us hardworking, dedicated and trust worthy staffs. I also have a knowledge on Microsoft Word and Excel, i can type fast, i love researching, investigating. I'm also good in budgeting. I can work unsupervised, and i can have my own way of finding things out if i really want to. i have lots of patience in everything that i'm doing and you can expect from me that i'll be doing my best in work if given the chance to be hired here, because i'm the type of person who is dedicated and hardworking.
