Profile Description

I am currently a stay-at-home dad looking for an online job that will enable me to work-from-home and still have more time to look after my 7 yr. old daughter. I consider myself a true IT professional, having experienced many aspects of IT. My first job with Unisys exposed me to legacy programming, consulting and the banking industry. My 2nd job with SCA, I was part of a 3-man IT department serving 200+ employees in the manufacturing industry so I had experience in helpdesk/tech support, network/DB/server administration, business applications support, and business intelligence reporting. My 3rd job with Coca-Cola, I specialized in supporting their main business intelligence platform, exposing me to a lot of client engagement, incident management, problem management and data analysis. It may also be worthwhile to note that I scored the highest among my colleagues in our ITIL certification exam (98%).
I've always had very good relationships with the business people I support because I always try to picture myself in their shoes. I always look from the perspective of both the customer and the business owner to determine their needs and, if possible, add more value.
Lastly, I just want to share the results of Gallup's "Strengths Finder" assessment of me, which I find to be very accurate. According to the report, my top 5 strengths are Learner, Relator, Individualization, Analytical, and Responsibility. These strengths has enabled me to adapt quickly to any environment, get along with different personalities, solve problems and simply get things done.
