I hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and passed the December 2013 Nurse Licensure Examination. I currently am undergoing postgraduate training and studies as a Nurse Anesthetist. I have a good command of the English language, on both oral and written platforms. I have been exposed to journalistic writing, creative writing, editing articles and theses (grammatical checks and formatting) and even constructing test questions and other review materials. Moreover, I am proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, Sony Vegas, and Audacity. Sitting in front of a computer for at least 10-16 hours a day has developed my patience and attention span when it comes to research.
Writing has always crossed my mind, but I just couldn't find time back then, because of the demands as a healthcare professional. I stick to tasks until I finish them, following directions meticulously. I can work well with little or no supervision. The emphasis of delivering quality care to our clients as a vital function of a nurse has always helped me gun for excellence in everything I do, be it healthcare-related, or not.
