I worked as a Technical Support Representative for 5 years in Sitel Philippines. I was assigned to received inbound calls in Dell account for 1 year, after that I was transferred to Lexmark Printers and assigned to take inbound calls for printer problems. When chat support was open in Lexmark account, I was transferred there, so I belong to the first batch of chat support in Lexmark. I was transferred to email support after the account launch this line of business. During my 5 years of stay in Sitel I was trained on how to handle phone, email and chat customers. We help them fix their printer issues either in phone, chat or email. We make sure that they are very satisfied in every conversation that we have.
After my 5 years of stay in Sitel, I decided to change my career. I was given a task to manage one of the Logistics company here in the Philippines. I managed the Polomolok Branch of LDE/MBE Global Corporation for 9 months. During my 9 months of stay in the said company, I am proud to say that I am the reason why the said company got the slot for the school buses in Kalsangi, which is one of the private school intended for DOLE Philippines employee's children. I am also the reason why they have a wing van that operates in Century Tuna and 2 forklifts. As an operation manager, my job is to make sure that we have enough income that can suffice the company and also my people. Being an operation manager is a big challenge for me because at first I don't have any background with trucks, buses and other heavy equipment but during my 9 months of stay. I was able to familiarize some of the problems, parts and how to troubleshoot each vehicles. I do the accounting, sales part and dealing with different companies so that we can gain more income.
I go back to call center industry again after my logistic career, it is because my heart and soul is with this industry. I worked as a Customer Service Representative of AT&T Value Market, we handle billing and sales. We help our customer resolve their billing concern and help them get the best value of their service. We offer some products that will help them save their money. We help them understand their billing concerns as well. I was transferred to AT&T Blue which we handle U-verse account. We have the same job, helping our customer save their money and explain their bills.
